Living in Southwest Missouri is a privilege we all enjoy. The beauty, simplicity and ease combined with a low cost of living and some of the best people on the planet is why I moved back to Springfield, MO in 2003.

Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, I was the youngest of four siblings and had the most amazing parents. They instilled values of caring and integrity, taught the value of a dollar, always encouraged being true to yourself and respecting others. Their sacrifices helped me achieve success today, for which I'm eternally grateful.

I moved to Springfield in 1984 to attend Southwest Missouri State University (now MSU). In 1993, a job opportunity in corporate restaurant management offered me a chance to live in 7 cities in 10 years. This education in diversity of people and places, along with the use of systems and tools, set the platform for an easy transition into a real estate career in August 2006.

My dedication to my clients has built a huge referral-based business. Working with the integrity and ethics of this profession, I've grown my business over the years. Demonstrating strength in market knowledge, negotiation and marketing skills has been key to providing my clients with "customer-first" experiences. It really does make a difference who you choose to sell your house. We put our house on the market in April and became increasingly concerned with our agent's lack of communication and progress on the sale of our home. We had a great house, in a great location, that was priced competitively. However by September we had zero offers, so decided to shift gears and find a new agent.

I called Jim and since then my only regret was that we did not go with him sooner. He met with us within 2 days of contact. He sat down with us and gave us a detailed education about the structure of the sale, the legalities, and all of the contingencies; something our former agent never did. Within a few days of taking the listing, he had a professional photographer out to our home to update the listing (something else our former agent never did). He got us an offer within a week of taking on the listing, and by the end of the year our house was under contract for asking price. He held our hand through the entire closing process and was always available to answer questions and listen to our concerns. We are still grateful for his hard work and genuinely appreciative of the professionalism he maintained all along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better selling agent. Jim's sense of humor as well as his far-reaching professional resources relieved much of the stress that comes with the sale of a home. I will recommend him to everyone I know!
